What are Yilan ETAs doing in August
Storytelling at Yilan City Library 宜蘭市立圖書館說故事
During August, Fulbright offers a wide variety of training at different sites in Taiwan for incoming ETAs. With plentiful events, cultural activities and online workshops in Yilan, ETAs become more familiar with Yilan’s environment through visiting various places as much as possible in Yilan. ETAs also develop a better understanding of the local culture by having a tour of the clog museum in Suo-Ao township and forming a close bond with the local community by doing storytelling in Yilan city library. We are looking forward to seeing what they’ve learned from summer training and how they overcome the following challenges in the future.
八月份學術交流基金會在台灣各地為英語教學助理提供各式各樣的暑期培訓。有著豐富的活動、文化體驗及線上工作坊，宜蘭的美藉英語教學助理經由參訪宜蘭各個地方，進而更了解宜蘭生活的環境。同時參訪宜蘭蘇澳鎮白米木屐村的文化體驗培養他們對當地文化的更加了解，透過在市立圖書館為學童們說故事與當地社區形成更深的聯繫。期待看到他們從暑期培訓中學習以及如何在克服未知的挑戰
