A Meaningful Day for Hualien ETAs

The final day of winter training was quite a hectic but especially meaningful and memorable one for the Hualien ETAs. We started the day at 8am at the DMV for our scooter license test (with an 80% passing success rate!), followed by our local cultural event, and we ended the day celebrating Winslow's birthday! For the cultural event, our local coordinator Gill brought us to a resort in Ji'an Township (where she held her wedding back in September 2019!) to experience fabric dyeing with garden herbs. It was there we realized how therapeutic it is to pound herbs with a mallet over a cotton handkerchief.
