Schools Situation

In 2023-24,  24 ETAs and 11 ETFs collaborated with teachers in 35 schools (including 14 elementary and 21 junior high schools) across different districts in Taipei. The schools vary in their size, with student numbers ranging from 327 to 1324 for elementary schools, and from 126 to 1865 for junior high schools.

The average number of LETs working with ETAs and ETFs is 5 to 6, and these include both English teachers and subject teachers. ETAs and ETFs also work closely with homeroom teachers and administrators from their schools. ETAs and ETFs teach both English (as a subject) as well as CLIL (content and language integrated learning) classes.
