2019’s Teacher’s Day Celebration

Last year I was an ETA at Nan Wang and Guang Ming Elementary Schools in Taitung County. Nan Wang Elementary School is an experimental aboriginal culture school, so for 2019’s Teacher’s Day celebration, we took a trip to neighboring Hualien County to visit another aboriginal education school. Over the weekend trip, we ate fresh seafood, stayed at a nice hotel near the coast, and learned how to better integrate aboriginal culture into our school’s daily operations and pedagogy. Our Teacher’s Day trip was excellent for team building and knowing how much we were appreciated by the administration and school community.

去年我在台東的南王國小和光明國小擔任ETA，南王國小是一間實驗性的原住民學校，去年教師節我們到花蓮縣拜訪另一間原住民教育學校，我們享用新鮮的海鮮，晚上住宿在一間靠海的飯店，也學到了如何將原住民文化融入學校的日常運作和教學理念，那次的旅行對於團隊合作很有幫助，也讓我們感受到學校行政和社區對我們的感激之情。
