Important Update: Earthquake in Hualien - Confirmation of Safety and Travel Advisory

We experienced a significant earthquake this morning, and we hope everyone is safe. The epicenter was in Hualien, and many cities and counties have been affected.

We have confirmed that all our colleagues and grantees are safe after this morning’s earthquake. Please let your families know that you are safe, as they may be worried.

With the long holiday approaching, we understand that many of you may have plans. However, due to the damage caused by the earthquake in eastern Taiwan, we suggest avoiding this area to allow time for repairs and to ensure your safety, especially in mountainous areas.

Please stay in close contact with your coordinators for any emergency situation. Ensure that they can reach you at any time.
