Sign-Up for Remote Service Camp

Dear ETAs and first-year ETFs,

This year, we will have three remote service camps in December, March, and April. It is a weekend event hosted in a remote area of Taiwan for local students. The transportation and other material fees for the remote service camps will be reimbursed. You are welcome to sign up for the limited spots. Please find the details below.

CAMP

This year's remote service will be English camps for local elementary students. FSE will find two local elementary schools to teach students English vocabulary through games and activities. The themes are more related to the local culture, such as tourist business, weather, etc.

December 15th, 16th, 17th, 2023 @Sun Moon Lake, Nantou
March 22th, 23th, 24th, 2024@Tainan
April 12th, 13th, 14th, 2024 @Hsinchu

SPOTS

Each camp has 16 spots for ETAs. Each site's spot number is listed below:

Taipei (2 spots), New Taipei (1 spot), Penghu (1 spot), Yilan (1 spot), Hualien (1 spot), Southern Hualien (1 spot), Taitung (1 spot), Taichung (1 spot), Changhua (1 spot), Yunlin (1 spot), Chiayi (1 spot), Kaohsiung (1 spot), Pingtung (1 spot), Kinmen (2 spots).

NOTES

Please sign up before 2 pm on Thursday, October 19th, 2023.
Since there are limited spots, we will randomly select the participants from your survey results.
The remote service camp will be held on Saturday. FSE will provide the accommodation on Friday and Saturday.
If you want to travel to these locations earlier or stay longer, you will have to use your personal leave on any leave of weekdays.
Your participation in one remote service camp will count as 4 hours of community service.
