In order to assist globalization with more international education resources, Fulbright cooperated with the Humboldt County Office of Education to promote the project of Global Classroom. The project's reach extends beyond California's schools; schools from all across the USA are encouraged to participate.

For your information, Taiwan's Ministry of Education has encouraged local public elementary and junior high schools to conduct international exchanges and establish sister schools with schools in 62 countries where English is the official or common language. 

Professor Cheng from National Chung Cheng University and several teachers in central Taiwan have already participated in the “Global Classroom Connect” project with Humboldt County in California. This initiative offers Taiwanese teachers a unique opportunity to establish meaningful connections with American educators and explore the potential for international sister-school relationships.
