Our 1st month in Changhua

On the first day of 2021, Changhua ETAs arrived Taiwan safely. Although staying in the self-quarantine hotel sounds isolated, but Changhua ETAs had such good memories about it. Beside our online training workshops, we did many fun activities online together, such as playing online games, Chinese idioms lessons and interviewing Chinese teachers (for learning Chinese). The most excited day was when we celebrated we all got negative result on Covid-test and had a big welcome dinner!

The highlights of this month were the school announcement and when we met our teachers! We not only received co-teaching experiences form Fulbright advisors, 2nd year ETAs, but also experienced teachers. In addition, we spend a day bonding and lesson planning with our local English teachers from the schools we will be teaching. We are so excited to start our journey working with teachers and meet our students.
