Previous topics explored include Project-Based Learning, Children's Literature and Board Games, Co-Teaching Troubleshooting and Feedback, Tools for Assessing Listening and Speaking, and Connecting Reading and Writing Using Picture Books.
Biweekly Report (FSE)
This report allows ETAs to reflect on their two-week instruction, share updates about their life in Taiwan, and discuss concerns with their advisor.
Classroom Observation (FSE)
Each ETA is assigned an advisor. The advisor is responsible for reviewing the ETAs' biweekly reports as well as conducting one class observation every semester.
During the class observation, the advisor will observe and assess the effectiveness of the co-teaching between ETA and LET. The advisor will then provide feedback and comments to promote a better team teaching experience between ETA and LET.
